This is not an original recipe of mine but who cares. I made these scones this week and last week, and apparently once eight years ago. And they're great. I just had to publish a page about it here.

4 cups self raising flour
300 ml lemonade
300 ml cream
Pinch of salt

Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a tray with baking paper.
Starting with the flour, place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix together to form a soft dough (I've often added a little more lemonade than what the instructions say).
Tip the dough out onto a well-floured bench, dust the dough lightly with flour, then roll out into a rectangle approximately 4 centimetres thick.
Cut the dough into 12 pieces and gently place each piece apart on the prepared baking tray. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack. Serve the scones. Then you're done! :)

  • One thing I find totally awesome about this recipe is that you can put together flour, lemonade, and cream together, and they come out tasting more or less just like regular scones, though tasteful ones I am sure of it.
  • These are much more unhealthy than regular sconces (but they taste better in my book). Do not eat these on a regular basis!
